The large decked balcony has spectacular views of the sea, Ness Point and Ravenscar and catching the morning sun (please note, this garden area is open to the cliff). There is a small garden to the front of the cottage, with cobbled walkway, small area of grass and some pretty plants - in particular a flowering cherry, which flowers in April and May and two camellias which flowers around the same time. There is also a medium sized flower bed containing superb New Zealand Flax, which flowers each year and a number of roses which flower from June to September. The Geraniums in the centre of the bed are of particular interest as they have survived over 10 winters due to the costal climate. When the sun is shining, it is recommended you spend the morning on the balcony and the afternoon in the square which is extremely sheltered and very hot during the summer months. Good quality deckchairs are provided to enable you to enjoy both areas. There are two additional televisions in the second living room and master bedroom downstairs. Parking in the village from March through October is operated by Pay & Display. There is free parking on some streets but this could be quite a walk.
